about
Dream Diary’s third Singles Club entry brings us another release from DD artist and label owner Oslo Roma. Following on from his sold out EP “Bubbles”, Roma returns with a patient builder, that expertly exhibits his ability to blend ambience with deep baselines, minimal beats and an electro propellant. His works are always a wonderful exponent of all thing analog, utilising sequencers to create unique rhythms and patterns. The track begins with a granular atmospheric cycling pad that’s supported by falling percussive noises.
We’re then greeted by a groovy SH 101 bass line that evolves carries us throughout the track. As the track develops we’re treated to various ambient textures courtesy of the Juno 106 passing through many outboard FX. This uniquely chained series of outboard FX provide the listener with hypnotic atmospheric transitions and dub style delays that keep this minimal track interesting from start to finish.
